Dr. Kathy Kim
DDS
Dr. Kathy Yejin Kim is a Board certified pediatric dentist who passionately believes in helping her patients develop good oral habits from an early age. Dr. Kim also understands how difficult a dental visit can be for young patients and their parents, and strives to provide the most positive experience.
Dr. Kim calls Seoul and Vancouver her hometowns – although she doesn’t say “eh” or “washroom”, she remains proud of her Canadian upbringing. Dr. Kim studied microbiology and immunology at the University of British Columbia, and moved to Philadelphia to study dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After the dental school, she completed her pediatric dental residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she served as a chief resident.
Dr. Kim lived and worked in New York City before she moved to southern Westchester, which she calls home nowadays. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Kim mostly spends her time with her husband and two young daughters, Adeline and Claire, and daydreams about the next adventures to somewhere in Europe or the Pacific Ocean.
